BOULDER CREEK Gold Placer Deposit $60,000

Proven, probable and possible reserves are 841,060 cubic metres grading 1.3 grams per tonne

Liard Mining Division. From the town of Dease Lake, proceed north on Stewart-Cassiar Highway 37 some 60 kilometres to a ford crossing of the Dease River (past the northern tip of Dease Lake) which then leads to a series of unmaintained mining roads that encircle Thibert Creek and intersect Boulder Creek, Delure Creek and Berry Creek.

The property consists of 7 contiguous claims covering 218 hectares /538 acres directly astride Boulder Creek. The current tenure configuration encompasses the Boulder Creek deposit, a 4.64 kilometre straight-line of contiguous river frontage.

The deposit is combination of buried channel placer and surficial placer deposit types.

The Placer occurrence is documented in Minfile 104J054 - Boulder Creek. Gold production (1905-1920) totalling 275,919 grams is recorded for Boulder Creek. The creek drains an area underlain by greywacke, slate and chert of the Mississippian-Triassic Kedahda Formation (Cache Creek Complex). Proven, probable and possible reserves are 841,060 cubic metres grading 1.3 grams per tonne (George Cross News Letter No.139 (July 21), 1986). In 2000, Netseers Internet Corp. attempted to find the source of the Thibert Creek placers and possibly the Keystone showing (104J 012). The company completed detailed mapping and sampling of the placer workings at Delure Creek (104J 055), Five Mile Gulch, Boulder Creek and Berry Creek (104J 007) with the attempt to locate possible sources of gold mineralization within the workings. A total of 90 soil samples were taken in a total of 11 lines which were intended to bracket the areas of the workings and locate possible sources of mineralization.

The underlying rock units are prospective for gold and platinum and are documented in the Minfile 104J012 - Keystone showing which occurs at the mouth of Boulder Creek at Thibert Creek.
