Access:  From Wells, proceed west on Barkerville Highway 26 for some 35km to Coldspring House. There, take 1300 Road (past the Lightning Creek Recreational Area) in a southeasterly direction for approx. 30 km. (Swift River Forest Service Rd.) to 13P Road which intersects the property.

The property lies in an alluvial outwash area at the base of the west flank of Cariboo Mountain. The southern portion of the property is intersected by Porter Creek, a tributary of Little Swift River, 1700 metres west of the current property boundary.

Porter Creek has a minimal history of any work formally reported until recently, when ARIS Report 31471 was published by the Ministry of Energy Mines and Petroleum Resources, BC (EMPR), outlining work completed in 2009, authored by S. Kocsis P.Geo, for Owner Leslie Sleeva, which included excavation of 17 test pits and 800 metres of seismic survey. The seismic lines crossed the Porter Creek valley floor and partially up both sides of the valley, in an east-northeast direction, in area now contained in the southeast portion of the current property boundary.

With an extensive volume suggested that remains to be quantified, along with other areas partially quantified up to .33 grams of gold per yard, this is an excellent opportunity for a placer property with proven mineralization already partially mapped out.
